Jessica has more than 10 years of experience in enzyme identification, optimization, expression, and production. Her areas of focus include enzymes for the food and chemical/pharmaceutical industries. She has also developed a natural antimicrobial compound to market, which BRAIN is commercializing with partners for food applications. For more than 5 years, Jessica has worked in New Business Development in various areas. Today she is responsible for BRAIN's enzyme and probiotics business in Zwingenberg.

- 2010 - 2017: scientific project management, project conception, supervision of industrial cooperations with focus on enzymes for food and feed applications as well as for the chemical industry
- 2011 - 2017: product and business development for an antimicrobial compound for food and cosmetic applications: bioactivity, production process, regulatory strategies, IP-strategy, cosmetic formulations, application testing, customer aquisition
- 2017 - September 2023: Manager Business Development, focus on enzymes, probiotics, and antimicrobials
- Since October 2023: Director Enzymes
