Six steps from initial exchange to contract signing
Step 1: Initial exchange
Initial exchange with our Business Development team will provide specific advice on which scientific approaches may be expedient.
Step 2: Technical advice
Technical support from our scientists underpins the advice.
Step 3: Joint project discussion
Presentation and discussion of our proposal that includes a scientific project plan, commercial terms and cost overview.
Step 4: Project planning
The project is planned based on FTE in different project phases with associated go-/no-go decisions.
Step 5: Contract negotiation
Depending on the strains and technologies used, we negotiate potential tech access fee, performance-based milestone payments, as well as licences / royalties.
Step 6: Contract signing
Signing of an appropriate contract that fulfills the interests and expectations of both parties.

We offer to work exclusively with one client in a scientific field for the agreed duration.
Intellectual Property
You may receive IP for your specific solution. Background IP and know-how remain with the original partner.
Full transparency
All results and data achieved will be shared frequently during the project. A comprehensive scientific report will be provided at the end of the collaboration.
Confidentiality
We treat all project data and customer information with the utmost confidentiality, as standard in our business since our incorporation back in 1993.
Full control
You are sitting in the driver seat. Our projects are stage-gated projects with Go-/No-go decisions at each stage. If needed, we can adjust work packages together based on the results. We offer regular project meetings to discuss the project status.
Material transfer
The developed biological material and, depending on the project, also test material and samples may be shipped for tests in your facilities.
